Below is an overview of tools you can use for remote teaching which are general available at the TU Delft.  Check which tool suits your needs.

Emailing
It is possible to send an email to your entire class or a subset of your class in Brightspace

Virtual Classroom (Bongo) Virtual classroom tool, suitable for online interactive classroom sessions (Session max: 150 participants per session, 240 minutes), screen sharing & virtual whiteboard tools integrated, sharing sessions with external (not TU Delft) users, recording sessions and optional publishing of recordings to a Brightspace course offering. Available in every Brightspace Course offering, no special access is required.
MS Teams –
Meetings (300)
Video conferencing tool with screen sharing, breakout rooms and optional recording within Teams. Teams is an online collaboration platform that can be used to communicate and collaborate with groups of students, lecturers, and staff in any combination.
MS Teams –
Live Events (300 – 10.000)
MS Teams Live Events enable you to broadcast your lecture to up to 10.000 participants. Students (attendees) can only listen, watch and -if you enable it- ask questions in the Q&A chat.
Zoom Video-conferencing tools (like Virtual Classroom) with screen sharing, breakout rooms and optional recording. Not integrated with Brightspace. Be aware that Zoom is not GDPR compliant and not supported by the TU Delft helpdesk because it is temporarily available.
Skype for Business Tool for video and audio communication with individuals and groups. Available to all TU Delft employees and not for students. Skype for Business communicates with normal Skype, but doesn’t have a screen sharing option.

Kaltura Do-it-yourself video tool for recording from webcam/screencasting (i.e. ppt or screen) & video repository for videos created with Kaltura tool or other video tools. From the repository, videos can be integrated and reused in Brightspace course content. Available in every Brightspace Course offering, no special access is required.
Do-it-yourself studios Teaching Lab and NewMedia Centre An on-campus studio booth to record your own presentations. Support will be available to help you get started. The small studios are closed because of the crisis. The large green screen studio is now available upon request. Please visit the NMC website for further information.
Collegerama Service to record or live-stream your lecture in lecture halls. Recording is available directly after the lecture and can be played back anytime, anywhere. It’s possible to edit recordings and add questions and annotations to specific times in the video. More information can be found on the Collegerama-website.

Creating groups of students can facilitate communication or group work. Unlimited group categories, max 200 groups per category, max group size: 200 students. Available in every Brightspace Course offering, no special access is required.
Brightspace –
Self-enrollment group tool
Tool to facilitate students enrolling themselves in their self-preferred groups. Max 200 groups per self-enrollment set-up. Available in every Brightspace Course offering, no special access is required.
MS Teams Tool for video and audio communication with individuals and groups and to work together on documents. Available to everyone at TU Delft, supported by ICT Teams and TLS.
Wiki Foswiki implements the Wiki idea of a shared whiteboard where anyone can add content or change what is written or change the organization of the content. Access needs to be requested through TLS support for new users.
Overleaf Overleaf is an online collaborative scientific writing and publishing tool. It is designed to make the process of writing, editing, and producing scientific papers much quicker for authors.

FeedBackFruits – Interactive Audio Tool to help students engage with the material posted in Feedbackfruits before class with inline questions and discussions. This can be a graded activity. Available in every Brightspace Course offering, no special access is required.
FeedBackFruits – Interactive Document In a document uploaded to Feedbackfruits, students can see Inline questions and peer discussions linked to specific parts of the document to trigger the student to actively engage with the study material. This can be a graded activity. Available in every Brightspace Course offering, no special access is required.
FeedBackFruits – Interactive Video In a video posted to FeedbackFruits, students can see inline questions and peer discussions linked to specific times in the video to trigger the student to actively engage with the study material. This can be a graded activity. Available in every Brightspace Course offering, no special access is required.

BuddyCheck Buddycheck is a simple to set up and use peer evaluation tool which allows students to evaluate each team member’s performance in a group activity, as well as perform a self-assessment.
FeedBackFruits – Peer Review FeedbackFruits Peer Review enables instructors to create assignments for students to provide feedback to their peers on deliverables like documents or videos based on predefined criteria. The tool needs to be requested through TLS Support.
FeedBackFruits – Group Member Evaluation FeedbackFruits Group Member Evaluation streamlines how students assess their peers’ collaboration skills. The teacher specifies the criteria students use to evaluate their peers’ contribution to group work. The tool needs to be requested through TLS Support.

Quizzes
Test your students’ understanding of the content or their prior knowledge, with quizzes.
Möbius
(formerly MapleTA)
Möbius is a web-based system for creating tests, quizzes and assignments. It can automatically assess student responses. If you are not yet using Möbius for your course in Brightspace, you need to contact TLS Support first to have it set up for your course.
Ouriginal Plagiarism scanning tool available in combination with Brightspace Assignments Available in every Brightspace Course offering, no special access is required.
FeedbackFruits – Skill Review FeedbackFruits Skill Review facilitates teacher feedback on activities such as presentations, oral exams or an interview. The tool needs to be requested through TLS Support.
FeedbackFruits – Assignment Review FeedbackFruits Assignment Review aims to improve student learning by allowing instructors to provide in-line feedback on deliverables. Teachers can specify the criteria and feedback format. The tool needs to be requested through TLS Support.
ConTest A tool for scanning and analyzing on-paper multiple choice exams. Scanning needs to be done by DigitalExams, the paper exams need to be handed in at the ESA desk (ContactCentre).
